The Power Factors Knowledge Base houses documentation for ALL Power Factors products.

Who can access the Power Factors Knowledge Base?

General Public

Visitors who have not logged in can proceed to the Knowledge Base where they will have full access to the Getting Started section:

These articles include instructions on how to use the Power Factors Support Portal and access various applications, as well as other non-restricted content.

Logged-in users

If a user is logged into the Portal (or a Power Factors application that allows SSO access), they will be able to see additional, Product-specific sections:

Getting around the Knowledge Base

A search bar is available at the top right of every page, enabling users to:

  • view a list of Popular Articles

  • enter a search term to locate an article on a specific topic.

Landing page

Looking at the landing page, users may notice that:

  • Each section or category – besides Getting Started – corresponds to an application or product

    • scroll down to see ALL categories.

  • Each category includes multiple folders, which can list up to 7 articles or subfolders

    • If there are more than 7 articles or subfolders, users will see a View all link at the bottom

  • Category and folder headings are clickable.

Not all folders will be visible to those who are logged-in. Some articles may be restricted to specific groups of users.

Folder level

Users who click through to folder or subfolder level will see a full list of articles and/or subfolders:

Viewing articles

Users clicking through to an article will see the following:

Article

  • the title includes information on when the article was last updated

  • the article body.

  • Articles in this folder enables users to quickly navigate a selection 4 articles in the same folder

  • You may like to read lets users view related articles in other categories.
