This article describes how to update the password used to access BluePoint, Greenbyte, and the Power Factors Support Portal. The screens in the below steps will show the logo that corresponds to the platform where the password is being updated.
BluePoint, Greenbyte, and Power Factors Support Portal users can log in with the same set of credentials. This means that:
if a user is logged in to one platform, they can also access the other platforms
if the user resets their password on one platform, it will also be reset for the other platforms.
Before you can update your password, you must first log out from all three platforms:
On the Power Factors Support Portal, click the user icon in the upper right corner and choose Sign out from the menu:
In Greenbyte, click the user name in the upper right corner and choose Log Out from the menu:
In BluePoint, click the he user name in the upper right corner and choose Log Out from the menu:
Log in to the Support Portal, Greenbyte, or BluePoint.
Click Forgot password? in the Enter Your Password form:
Provide your email address and click Continue:
Go to your mailbox and Check Your Email:
Find the Password Change Request email and click Confirm:
In the Change Your Password form that opens, add and re-enter a new password that meets the following requirements:
At least 8 characters
At least 3 of the following:
Lower case letters (a-z)
Upper case letters (A-Z)
Numbers (0-9)
Special characters (e.g. !@#$%^&*)
Click Reset password:
A Password Changed! notification opens to confirm that your password has been successfully updated, after which you can log in to the Support Portal, Greenbyte, or BluePoint using your updated credentials.
